Nessie at Bruce's Mill conservation area

Noah Fellowship Picnic 2005; Date: July 23rd (Saturday)

Nessie fits conveniently in even a small car, such as a Toyota Echo. Only one side of the back seat needs to fold forward, leaving plenty of room for Christina's child seat:

When we arrived at the conservation area, we found that the pool was not open. The pool is only opened up if someone rents it (and then it is only open for use by the party that rents the pool). So Nessie saved the day from being dry and boring. The original plan was to have Nessie swim in the pool, but she was also quite happy on a picnic table, hooked up to a garden hose:

In keeping with the spirit of this occasion, I re-wrote sections of a popular jazz/funk hymn, "SING HALLELUJAH TO THE LORD", for being played on the FUNtain, as follows (basically I shifted portions of it up or down an octave to keep it bounded by A to e/L):

SING HALLELUJAH TO THE LORD (up one octave); SING HALLELUJAH TO THE LORD; SING HALLELUJAH; SING HALLELUJAH; SING HALLELUJAH TO THE LORD (up one octave).

Nessie can either be played in a body of water such as a pool, or she can be supplied with water from a garden hose:
